Shark Ridill 2 Molokai Matte BLK/ANT/Red

The Shark Ridill 2 in the Molokai graphic is a full-face road helmet built around an injected thermoplastic (Lexan) shell and multi-density EPS liner, certified to the current UNECE 22.06 standard. The Molokai colourway pairs a matte black base with anthracite and red detailing.

It's aimed at everyday riders — commuters, weekend road riders and tourers — who want a well-equipped helmet without stepping up to a composite shell. The second-generation Ridill brings a reworked shape and a much fuller equipment list than the original, including a drop-down sun visor, a Pinlock 70-ready main visor and tool-free visor changes.

Shark's own Sharktooth and SENA for SHARK intercom units are designed to fit, so adding communications later is straightforward.

Wash the shell and visor with warm water and a mild soap only — petrol, solvents, thinners and alcohol-based cleaners can attack the thermoplastic shell and the visor's anti-scratch coating.
Soak stubborn insects on the visor with a damp cloth for a minute or two, then wipe gently; dry rubbing will scratch the coating.
Use the tool-free removal system for visor changes and cleaning rather than forcing the mechanism, and check both side plates are fully latched before riding.
If you fit a Pinlock 70 insert (sold separately), use the visor's tension adjustment levers to set the seal, and clean the insert only with a soft damp cloth — it has a soft anti-fog surface that marks easily.
Keep the drop-down sun visor retracted when riding at night or in low light, and clean it with the same mild soap-and-water method as the main visor.
Check the textile fastening system regularly for fraying or wear, and always ride with the strap fully closed and adjusted snugly under the jaw.
Dry the helmet naturally at room temperature after wet rides — never use a hairdryer, heater or direct sunlight, as heat can distort the EPS liner.
Store the helmet in the supplied bag, somewhere cool and dry, and keep it away from fuel vapours and exhaust fumes.
When installing a Sharktooth or SENA for SHARK unit, use the helmet's designated speaker and mount locations rather than cutting or modifying the liner or shell.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even with no visible damage, and never paint, apply stickers or use adhesives on the shell.
