SHARK RIDILL 2 BLANK - BLK

The Shark Ridill 2 Blank is the second generation of Shark's everyday full-face road helmet, and it pulls the line noticeably closer to the brand's racing side. A compact outer shape, integrated vents and a rear spoiler borrow from sportswear and streetwear styling, presented here in a plain black finish with no graphics.

It suits commuters, weekend road riders and anyone wanting a well-equipped full face without moving to a track-focused lid. Shark developed the internal shape from a 3D scanning programme across a broad group of riders, so the Best Fit interior is shaped around real head profiles rather than one generic mould.

Beyond the shape, the Ridill 2 carries much of Shark's standard equipment across the range, and the shell architecture takes it past the demanding UNECE 22-06 requirements.

Fit the helmet level on your head and adjust the micrometric buckle so the chin strap is firm under the jaw before every ride; the ratchet lets you fine-tune the same setting each time.
Clean the shell and visor with lukewarm water and a mild soap using a soft cloth, then dry with a clean microfibre cloth. Never use petrol, thinners, solvents or ammonia-based glass cleaners, as these attack polycarbonate and can craze the shell or visor.
Lay a damp cloth over dried insects for a few minutes to soften them rather than scrubbing the visor dry, which causes scratching.
Treat the anti-fog Pinlock insert and the drop-down sun visor as delicate coated surfaces: wipe gently with water only and avoid abrasive cloths or paper towel.
Set the Pinlock tension levers so the insert seals against the visor without distorting it; back the tension off if the insert shows ripples.
Use the visor's air mesh lock position at low speed to reduce fogging, and close the visor fully before riding at speed.
Remove the visor with the tool-free release system for cleaning or replacement, and check it clicks positively back into its detents before riding.
Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and keep it away from heat sources such as an exhaust or a hot boot.
Dry the interior fully at room temperature after wet rides or heavy sweating; never use a hairdryer, heater or direct sun to speed it up.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage, and replace a visor that is scratched or hazed enough to affect vision at night.
When fitting an intercom, route cables and speakers in the moulded spaces provided and avoid cutting or compressing the EPS liner.
