Wipe the pad clean with a soft, damp cloth; avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners that may degrade the surface material.
Store away from prolonged direct sunlight and heat to prevent fading or material degradation.
Periodically check all mounting points and hardware to confirm the backrest remains securely attached to the top case.
If the pad shows signs of wear, cracking or deformation, replace it before continued use to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
Ensure the top case itself is properly fitted and locked to the mounting system before carrying a passenger against the backrest.
