- Place the speakers into the NXR2's designated speaker pockets as directed in the quick start guide — no tools are required.
- Route the cables through the helmet lining before refitting the interior padding to ensure a secure, rattle-free installation.
- Charge the unit fully before first use via the USB-C port.
- Install the Sena Device Manager (desktop) or Sena Utility App (mobile) to check for and apply firmware updates, which can improve performance and compatibility.
- To clean, wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, lightly dampened cloth; never use solvents, alcohol-based sprays or direct water streams on the unit or connectors.
- Avoid directing compressed air at microphone or speaker openings.
- If the helmet will not be used for an extended period, store the SRL-EXT charged to a partial level rather than fully discharged to preserve battery health.
- Store the helmet and unit in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
