The RST Brixton is a classic waxed-cotton motorcycle jacket that keeps the heritage look while meeting CE certification rating A as standard. The heavy-duty HD wax outer is reinforced with DuPont™ Kevlar®, and the quilted stitch detailing across the shoulders and body gives it a genuinely vintage character rather than a modern technical appearance.

It suits riders who want everyday, all-year road gear that does not look like race kit — commuters, classic and retro bike owners, and anyone who wants a jacket that works off the bike as well as on it. A waterproof lining handles wet weather, while the removable quilted thermal liner and chest and rear ventilation let you adjust it across cooler and warmer riding conditions.

Waist and cuff adjusters let you tailor the fit, and stretch panelling at the elbows keeps movement easy in the riding position.

Remove the armour and the quilted thermal lining before any cleaning, and refit them fully seated in their pockets afterwards.
Clean the waxed outer by brushing off dry dirt, then wiping with cold water and a soft cloth or sponge only.
Do not machine wash, dry clean, bleach, iron or tumble dry the wax outer, and keep detergents and solvents away from it — they strip the wax finish.
Re-proof the wax cotton with a suitable wax dressing when the fabric starts to look dry, pale or patchy, working it in evenly and warming lightly so it absorbs.
Allow the jacket to dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources, radiators and sunlight.
Be aware that waxed cotton can transfer colour onto light-coloured seats, bags and clothing, particularly when new or freshly re-waxed.
Store on a wide-shouldered hanger in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place rather than folded or compressed, so the wax does not crease-mark.
Check the shoulder and elbow armour sits over the joints before each ride, and adjust the waist and cuff adjusters so the armour cannot shift in a slide.
Fit a CE back protector into the rear pocket for back protection — one is not supplied with the jacket.
Inspect stitching, zips and the wax coating regularly, and replace the jacket after any crash impact.
