The RST S-1 CE Leather Jacket takes the construction of the S-1 CE one-piece race suit and reworks it into a jacket you can actually wear on the road. Premium drum-dyed cowhide, a sport-cut fit and CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour make it a serious option for track days, fast Sunday rides and everyday sports riding.

A full 360-degree connecting zip lets it pair with the matching S-1 CE leather jean for genuine two-piece coverage, while waist adjusters, neoprene cuffs and a removable thermal gilet keep it comfortable across changing conditions. Perforated panels help move air when the pace picks up, and shoulder sliders add abrasion protection where it counts.

Expect a short break-in period — the cowhide will soften and mould to your shape after a few rides, so choose a snug sport fit rather than sizing up.
Check that the shoulder and elbow armour is seated correctly in its pockets before every ride, and refit it after washing the liner or removing the gilet.
Wipe the leather with a soft, damp cloth after riding to remove dust, insects and road grime; avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners, bleach and machine washing.
Treat the leather periodically with a quality leather conditioner suitable for motorcycle garments to keep it supple; don't over-saturate perforated panels.
If the jacket gets wet, hang it to dry naturally at room temperature away from direct heat sources, radiators, hairdryers and direct sunlight — forced heat will harden and shrink leather.
Remove the quilted thermal gilet in warmer weather and refit it for cooler rides; follow the care label on the gilet itself for washing.
Keep zips clean and running freely, and use the 360-degree connecting zip to join the jacket to the matching RST S-1 CE leather jean for full two-piece coverage.
Inspect shoulder sliders, stitching and zip tapes regularly and replace worn sliders; retire the jacket from riding use after a crash that has damaged the leather or seams.
A back protector is not supplied — fit a compatible CE-certified back protector into the rear pocket for full torso protection.
Store on a wide hanger in a cool, dry, ventilated place; avoid plastic garment bags and damp cupboards, which can encourage mould.
