Upgrade Stator + Mosfet Regulator (RMS900-106902)

The RMSTATOR RMS900-106902 is a complete charging system upgrade kit pairing a brand-new aftermarket three-phase stator with RMSTATOR's red machined aluminium Mosfet voltage regulator. It is supplied as a direct, plug-and-play replacement for the original units, with the harness-side connector, gasket and mounting bolts included so the job can be finished in one go.

It suits riders and workshops replacing a failed or tired charging system on a three-phase permanent magnet setup, particularly where the original cast regulator has run hot or repeatedly burnt out. The billet aluminium heatsink sheds heat far better than a standard cast housing, and the Mosfet regulation circuit includes overheat protection that shuts the unit down to cool rather than letting it cook itself.

Electrical components must be fitted by a qualified technician, and the root cause of the original failure must be rectified before installation.

Have all electrical components fitted by a qualified technician — incorrect installation will void warranty.
Diagnose and rectify the root cause of the original failure (battery condition, earth points, damaged wiring, shorted loads) before fitting the new parts; installing onto an unresolved fault will void warranty.
Always fit the supplied gasket and use the included 3 x M6-1.00 x 30 Allen socket head bolts when mounting the stator, tightening evenly to the manufacturer's specification for your machine.
Replace the main harness-side plug with the supplied mating connector — melted, corroded or loose original connectors are a common cause of repeat charging faults.
Mount the regulator in its original location with clear airflow across the billet heatsink, and keep the fins free of mud, grease and road grime so it can shed heat.
Route the stator lead through the rubber grommet so it is sealed, clear of moving parts, exhaust heat and chain contact, and not under tension.
Check charging output after installation: the system should reach at least 14.5 V (±0.5 V) at the battery at raised idle, with open circuit voltage below 15 V.
Use a healthy, correctly charged battery — a faulty or sulphated battery places continuous load on the stator and regulator and can cause premature failure.
Keep the unit within its -20°C to 85°C operating range, and do not exceed the 50 A / 500 W maximum charging capacity with added accessories.
Inspect connectors periodically for heat discolouration, corrosion or spread pins, and clean or protect terminals with dielectric grease.
Wash the machine carefully around the regulator — avoid directing high-pressure water at the connectors or the stator cover seal.
