The RMSTATOR RMS010-107698 is a direct replacement stator built to fit the Suzuki RM-Z450 from 2005 to 2007. It is manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications, so it drops straight into the original location and plugs into the existing loom without modification or splicing.
RMSTATOR designs and manufactures electrical and electronic components for powersports machines including motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles and PWCs, with more than 25 product families across the range. This stator uses high-grade lamination material and copper winding rated to withstand 200°C, and the matching connector is supplied fitted.
Suited to riders and workshops replacing a failed or ageing charging-system component. Electrical components should be fitted by a qualified technician, and the underlying cause of the original failure should be identified and corrected before the new part is installed.

Warranty conditions supplied with this part: the component must be fitted by a qualified technician, and the root cause of the original failure must be addressed before fitting. - Have the stator fitted by a qualified technician - incorrect installation or diagnosis will void any warranty.
- Diagnose and correct the root cause of the original stator failure before fitting the replacement, otherwise the new unit is likely to fail as well.
- On battery-equipped machines, fully charge the battery before carrying out any charging-system testing or replacing parts; a weak or faulty battery will prevent any stator from working correctly.
- If there is any doubt about battery condition, have it load tested or replaced before condemning the charging system.
- Check the regulator/rectifier and associated wiring, earths and connectors as part of the diagnosis, as faults there can damage a new stator.
- Mate the supplied connector to a clean, dry, undamaged loom plug; replace corroded or melted terminals rather than reusing them.
- Route and secure the stator leads clear of rotating parts, the flywheel and hot engine surfaces, using the original clips and grommets.
- Torque the stator mounting hardware and cover fasteners to the values in the Suzuki service manual for the RM-Z450, and use a new cover gasket or seal where required.
- Keep the stator, magnets and flywheel area free of metal debris and oil contamination during installation.
- Store the unit in its packaging in a clean, dry place until fitting, and avoid knocking or dropping it, which can damage the laminations and winding insulation.
