The Rjays Waterproof Overmitts are a simple, packable answer to a wet commute. They pull straight over your existing riding gloves to add a fully waterproof, windproof outer layer, so you can keep the gloves you already like and still arrive with dry hands.

Construction is reinforced PVC-backed nylon with tape-welded seams, and an adjustable elastic strap cinches the cuff to help stop water tracking down your sleeve. They fold away into the included carry pouch, which makes them easy to keep under the seat or in a jacket pocket for days when the forecast is uncertain.

This listing is the SM/MD size. Overmitts are a wet-weather cover only — they are not armoured and are designed to be worn over your normal motorcycle gloves, not instead of them.

  • 100% waterproof outer layer that slips over your existing riding gloves
  • Reinforced PVC-backed nylon construction
  • Tape-welded seams to seal needle holes against water ingress
  • Adjustable elastic wrist closure strap to seal the cuff
  • Windproof barrier to help keep hands warm in cold, wet conditions
  • Packs down into the supplied carry pouch for storage under the seat or in a pocket
  • Available in SM/MD and LG/XL — this listing is SM/MD
  • Pair of waterproof overmitts

  • Fit the overmitts over your normal riding gloves, then tighten the elastic wrist strap over your jacket cuff so water cannot track down your sleeve.
  • Before riding off, work the throttle, clutch, brake and indicator switches a few times — the extra outer layer changes feel and bulk, so confirm you can operate every control confidently.
  • Rinse off road grime, salt and mud with cool water after wet rides, then wipe over with a soft cloth and a little mild soap if needed.
  • Hang to air dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, heaters, exhausts and hot-air dryers — heat can shrink, stiffen or distort the PVC backing and lift the welded seam tape.
  • Do not machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean, bleach or iron them.
  • Keep them away from petrol, oils, brake fluid, chain lube and solvent-based cleaners, all of which attack PVC coatings.
  • Make sure they are completely dry before packing them into the carry pouch, otherwise they can grow mildew and smell.
  • Store loosely rolled rather than sharply folded — repeated hard creases in the same spot are where PVC-backed fabric eventually cracks and leaks.
  • Periodically check the seam tape, wrist elastic and any reinforced panels for lifting or splitting; once the tape peels, the mitt is no longer waterproof and should be replaced.
  • Overmitts are a weather layer only — they provide no impact or abrasion protection, so always wear proper motorcycle gloves underneath.
