The Rjays Tracer Jacket is a laminated textile riding jacket built for year-round road use, in an olive body offset by fluoro yellow panels for a bit more presence in traffic. A REISSA POWERSKIN membrane keeps weather out while still letting the jacket breathe, and the tough 600D polyester shell is paired with stretch panels through the arms, sides and upper back so you can move naturally on the bike.
It suits commuters and touring riders who want one jacket that copes with a wet ride to work and longer weekend distances. CE armour sits at the shoulders and elbows, adjusters at the waist, arms and cuffs let you dial in the fit over base layers, and the detachable hood means the jacket still works once you're off the bike.

- Follow the sewn-in care label first — it takes precedence over any general advice.
- Remove the CE shoulder and elbow armour and the EVA back pad before washing, and refit them in their pockets afterwards.
- Close all zips, vents and adjuster tabs and detach the hood before washing to protect the fabric and hardware.
- Wash gently in cool water with a technical-fabric detergent; avoid bleach, fabric softener, solvents and dry cleaning, as these can damage the REISSA POWERSKIN membrane.
- Do not tumble dry or dry near direct heat such as heaters or exhausts — hang to air dry out of direct sunlight.
- Keep the outer shell clean: ingrained dirt and road grime reduce how well the fabric breathes and sheds water.
- Zip all vents fully closed in wet weather, and use the waist connection zip with matching Rjays pants to stop water entering at the waist.
- Check before each ride that the armour is sitting correctly over the shoulders and elbows and that the adjusters are snug enough to hold it in place.
- Inspect zips, stitching and reflective print regularly; replace the jacket if the shell is torn or abraded after a crash, as its protective performance can no longer be relied on.
- Store on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place — never pack it away damp.
