The Rjays Tour Air is a three-season touring jacket built for riders who want one jacket that copes with an Australian summer as well as cooler, wetter days. Large mesh panels through the front and back let air move over you at speed, while the 600D Poly Oxford shell and HITENA® abrasion-resistant fabric handle the wear and tear of everyday riding.
Two removable liners do the heavy lifting on versatility: a waterproof, breathable liner for showers and a full-sleeve thermal liner for early starts and winter commutes. Strip both out and you have a well-vented warm-weather jacket. CE armour at the shoulders and elbows comes fitted, and a fixed mesh comfort liner sits against the body so the jacket still feels good over a t-shirt.

- Remove both the waterproof liner and the thermal liner, and take out the shoulder and elbow armour and the EVA back pad, before any cleaning.
- Wash the outer shell and liners separately and follow the care label sewn into each garment; do not use bleach, solvents or fabric softener.
- Sponge armour and the back pad with lukewarm water only, then air dry them fully before refitting.
- Hang to dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhausts — avoid tumble drying and ironing, which can damage the mesh, laminates and reflective print.
- Refit the waterproof liner ahead of wet rides rather than during them, and run the thermal liner underneath it in cold weather; both zip out completely for hot days.
- After riding in rain, hang the jacket open with the liners removed so the mesh and shell dry right through and odours don't set in.
- Check before each ride that the armour is seated correctly over the shoulders and elbows and that the fit adjusters are snug, so the protectors stay in place.
- Use the waist connection zip to join the jacket to compatible riding pants and stop it riding up at speed.
- Inspect zips, stitching, adjusters and the reflective print periodically; clean grit out of zip teeth and replace the jacket if the shell is torn or has been through a crash.
- Store on a broad hanger in a cool, dry place with the liners out and zips closed — avoid leaving it compressed in a bag or in a hot vehicle.
