The Rjays Tour 2 Pants are all-season textile touring pants built for riders who want one pair that handles a commute, a weekend ride and a long trip away. A hard-wearing nylon and polyester outer shell carries reinforcement across the knees, where CE-certified armour sits, and the cut is designed to work with a matching jacket via a connection zip.
Two removable liners do the seasonal work: a waterproof, breathable membrane liner for wet weather and a lightweight thermal liner for cold mornings. Take both out and open the vents, and the same pants stay wearable through warmer Australian riding. Stretch panels, waist adjusters and an anti-slip seat panel keep the fit comfortable and settled in the saddle over long days.

- Remove the waterproof liner, thermal liner and knee armour before cleaning the outer shell — never wash the pants with the armour still fitted.
- Follow the sewn-in care label for washing; use a mild detergent and skip bleach, fabric softener and dry-cleaning solvents, which can damage the shell's coating and the membrane.
- Wipe the CE knee armour with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry it fully before refitting.
- Dry all parts naturally away from direct heat — no tumble dryer, radiator or heater — and hang the liners separately so they dry through.
- Zip the vents and pockets closed and fit the waterproof liner before riding in the wet; the membrane liner is what keeps the water out, so the outer shell will wet through on its own.
- Run the thermal liner in cold weather and remove both liners plus open all four vents when it warms up.
- Before each ride, check that the knee armour is seated in its pockets and positioned over the knee, and set the waist adjusters so the pants sit without sliding down.
- Use the connection zip to join the pants to a compatible jacket for touring, and check the zip tapes and stitching for wear from time to time.
- Store clean and completely dry on a hanger in a cool, ventilated spot out of direct sunlight; long periods folded or damp can crease the membrane and encourage mildew.
- Replace the pants or the armour after a crash or heavy impact — abrasion and impact protection are compromised even when damage isn't obvious.
