The Rjays Mission Hoodie is a protective riding hoodie built for riders who want the relaxed look of casual wear with genuine motorcycle-grade construction underneath. A three-layer softshell outer shell is paired with 500D polyester mesh, while the protector pockets are reinforced with a DuPont Kevlar fibre based fabric at the key impact zones.

CE Level 2 armour sits in the shoulders and elbows, backed by a PU shoulder cup and an EVA rubber back pad, so the hoodie offers real protection without looking like a track jacket. Large mesh panels and a polyester mesh comfort liner help move air on warmer days, and the hood detaches when you would rather ride without it.

It suits commuting, weekend rides and around-town use where you want to arrive looking like you did not put on riding kit. Finished in black with reflective print for low-light visibility and a waist connection zip for joining to compatible riding pants.

Remove the CE Level 2 shoulder and elbow armour and the EVA back pad from their pockets before washing, and refit them squarely over the shoulder, elbow and spine before riding.
Detach the hood before washing so it does not tangle or stretch the attachment points.
Close all zips and hook-and-loop wrist closures before washing to stop them snagging the softshell face fabric and mesh panels.
Wash separately using a mild detergent made for technical outerwear; do not use bleach, fabric softener or stain removers, as these can clog the softshell fabric and dull the reflective print.
Do not dry clean, tumble dry or iron. Hang to dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhaust pipes.
Spot clean bugs, road grime and fuel marks promptly with a damp cloth rather than scrubbing, and avoid solvents and petrol-based cleaners on the Kevlar fibre based reinforcement and leather logo patch.
Check the armour pockets, seams and zips periodically for wear, and replace armour that has been impacted in a crash even if it looks undamaged.
Use the waist connection zip to join the hoodie to compatible Rjays riding pants for a more secure fit at speed.
Store on a wide hanger in a cool, dry, ventilated place with the armour fitted or laid flat, so the padding does not take a permanent crease.
The softshell shell offers wind resistance and some water resistance rather than full waterproofing; carry a rain over-layer for sustained wet weather.
