The Rjays Eagle Youth Off-Road Boot is a purpose-built junior riding boot for young riders moving beyond ordinary footwear. Built on a microfibre upper with a waterproof coating and a waterproof, breathable liner, it keeps feet dry through wet paddocks and early-morning trail rides while still letting moisture escape.
Protection is scaled for younger legs, with a PU foam padded shin guard, foam ankle protection and padded calf support, plus reinforced heel and toe areas for the knocks that come with learning. The dual velcro closure is simple enough for kids to fasten themselves and easy to adjust over gear.
This listing is the black/yellow colourway in EU 35 (approximately youth US 3), part of the youth size range. Suited to junior off-road, motocross and trail riding, and equally at home on farm and property bikes.

- Check the fit before first use — the boot should hold the heel firmly with both velcro straps fastened, and the shin guard should sit over the shin, not the knee.
- Fasten both velcro straps evenly on every ride; a loose upper strap lets the boot twist and reduces the protection the shin and ankle padding can offer.
- Knock off loose mud and dirt after each ride, then wipe the microfibre upper with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap.
- Avoid petrol, solvents, degreasers and harsh cleaners on the upper, as these can damage the waterproof coating and the microfibre.
- Do not machine wash the boots or put them in a dryer.
- After wet or muddy rides, let the boots air dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhausts — high heat can shrink or distort the upper and sole.
- Keep the velcro strips clear of grit, grass and thread; clogged hook-and-loop loses grip and stops the straps holding closed.
- Store upright in a cool, dry place with the straps closed so the boots keep their shape and the velcro does not catch on other gear.
- Inspect the sole tread, heel and toe reinforcement and the stitching regularly, and retire the boots if the sole is separating or the padding is crushed.
- Youth riders outgrow boots quickly — recheck the fit each season, as a boot that is too small or too large compromises both comfort and protection.
