A genuine replacement visor for the Rjays Dakar II helmet, supplied in a clear, untinted finish for maximum visibility in low light and at night.

It suits riders who need to replace a scratched, chipped or hazed visor, or who want to keep a spare clear shield on hand alongside a tinted one for changing conditions. The Dakar II visor is also offered in iridium silver, dark tint and light tint, plus a dark tint internal visor, so you can build a set to match your riding.

Please note: this visor fits the Dakar II only — it does not fit the original Rjays Dakar helmet.

  • Check the visor is the correct fit before installing — it suits the Dakar II helmet only, not the original Dakar.
  • Remove and refit the visor with the helmet resting on a soft, stable surface, and make sure the mechanism clicks fully home on both sides before riding.
  • Clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap using a soft microfibre cloth; wipe gently rather than scrubbing.
  • Avoid petrol, solvents, ammonia-based glass cleaners, insect removers and abrasive cloths, as these can craze or cloud the visor.
  • Soften dried insects and road grime by laying a damp cloth over the visor for a few minutes, then wipe away — do not dry-wipe grit across the surface.
  • Do not use tinted visors at night or in poor light; keep this clear visor on hand for after-dark and low-visibility rides.
  • Store spare visors flat or in a soft bag, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and anything that could press against or scratch the surface.
  • Replace the visor if it becomes deeply scratched, hazed or cracked, as this scatters light and reduces vision in glare and at night.
