The Rjays Adventure Short Leg Pants are all-season adventure and touring pants built around a CH3532 outer shell with 1000D nylon reinforcement, finished in a plain black colourway. This version is cut with a short leg, so riders who normally find touring pants pooling at the boot get a cleaner, less bunched fit over the ankle.

A waterproof and breathable liner handles wet weather, while a removable 100g thermal liner and the AVS air-ventilation system let you take the same pants from cold mornings through to warm afternoons. Height-adjustable CE knee armour, stretch comfort panels and a mesh comfort lining keep them wearable over long distances in the saddle.

Set the knee armour to the correct height before your first ride, then recheck it after any wash or liner change so it sits over the kneecap in the riding position.
Remove the thermal liner, the waterproof/breathable liner, the braces and all armour before cleaning the outer shell.
Close all zips, flaps and hook-and-loop fastenings before washing so they don't snag or abrade the fabric.
Sponge off mud, insects and road grime with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, and rinse thoroughly rather than leaving detergent in the fabric.
Avoid bleach, solvents, petrol-based cleaners and fabric softener, all of which can damage the textile shell and reduce the performance of the waterproof membrane.
Drip or air dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhausts; do not tumble dry or iron the shell or liners.
If the outer fabric stops shedding water and starts soaking through, treat it with a wash-in or spray-on proofer intended for technical textiles to restore surface beading.
After wet rides, hang the pants open with the liners removed so both layers dry fully and the mesh lining doesn't hold moisture.
Store on a hanger in a cool, dry place with the armour fitted so the pads keep their shape, rather than folded under weight.
Inspect the stitching, zips, waist adjusters and armour pockets periodically, and replace armour that has been impacted in a crash.
