The Rjays Adventure is an all-season textile jacket built for adventure riding and long-distance touring. A hard-wearing outer shell is overlaid with heavy nylon through the shoulders and elbows, the areas that take the most abuse in a slide or a drop.

Removable waterproof and thermal liners let you run the same jacket through a humid summer morning and a cold winter highway stint, while large ventilation panels move air when the pace drops and the temperature climbs. Stretch panels and arm and waist adjusters keep the fit close without restricting movement in the saddle.

Suited to adventure, dual-sport and touring riders who want one jacket that covers the whole riding year.

  • Remove the thermal liner, the waterproof liner and all armour before washing the outer shell; wash the liners separately.
  • Close all zips and fasten hook-and-loop adjusters before washing so they do not snag the shell or mesh lining.
  • Use a mild detergent only — avoid bleach, fabric softener, solvents and dry-cleaning chemicals, which degrade textile shells and waterproof membranes.
  • Drip dry or line dry away from direct heat and sunlight; do not tumble dry or dry on a heater.
  • Spot-clean everyday road grime and insects with a damp cloth and mild soap rather than washing the whole jacket.
  • Run the waterproof liner in wet weather and remove it in the heat; the outer shell and ventilation panels are designed to flow air with the liner out.
  • Check the elbow protector height adjustment when you first fit the jacket so the armour sits over the joint in the riding position, and re-check after washing.
  • Inspect armour, stitching, zips and the EVA back pad periodically; replace any armour that has taken an impact, as protective foams do not recover fully.
  • Keep the connection zip teeth clean and lubricate with a zip wax or silicone if they become stiff.
  • Store on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place with the liners removed, rather than compressed in a bag, to avoid creasing the membrane and shell.
