The Risemousse Enduro Soft front mousse is a closed-cell foam insert that replaces the tube in a 21-inch front enduro tyre, removing the risk of a pinch flat or puncture-related deflation on rocky, rutted or debris-strewn terrain.
The Soft compound is aimed at enduro and trail riders who want a low equivalent pressure for maximum tyre carcass flex, footprint and grip over roots, rocks and slippery hard-pack. It suits both 80/100-21 and 90/90-21 front tyres, covering the most common enduro front fitments.
Intended for off-road competition and trail use, and best fitted by an experienced tyre fitter using mousse gel.

- Fitment is best left to an experienced tyre fitter — mousses are considerably harder to fit than tubes and are easily damaged by careless levering.
- Always use a dedicated mousse fitting gel on the mousse and inside the tyre before fitting; running a mousse dry causes it to overheat, harden and break down quickly.
- Re-apply mousse gel each time the tyre is changed, and inspect the mousse for hardening, tearing or loss of volume at the same time.
- Use a rim lock and check it is tight, as a mousse cannot hold the tyre bead against the rim by air pressure.
- Keep sustained high-speed and sealed-road running to a minimum — heat build-up is the main cause of mousse degradation.
- Allow the wheel to cool after a hard ride rather than immediately washing it with cold water.
- Store spare mousses flat or unstressed in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight and away from fuels, oils and solvents.
- Replace the mousse once it feels noticeably harder, has shrunk or is crumbling — a degraded mousse gives vague handling and can damage the tyre carcass.
- Do not attempt to inflate, patch or cut the mousse; it contains no air and is not repairable.
