The Vee Rubber Rim Tape is a protective strip designed to sit inside the wheel rim, shielding the inner tube from spoke holes and rough rim edges. At 60mm wide, this tape is suited to wider rear wheels running 150 or 190 section tyres on 17-inch rims.

- Remove the old rim tape completely before fitting new tape; do not layer tape over existing material.
- Clean the inside of the rim channel with a dry cloth to remove dust, debris, and any adhesive residue before installation.
- Ensure the tape sits flat and centred over the spoke holes with no folds or gaps before seating the inner tube.
- Replace rim tape every time a tyre or inner tube is changed, even if the tape appears undamaged.
- Inspect tape for cracking, hardening, or separation whenever the wheel is off the bike.
- Do not use petroleum-based solvents to clean the rim channel, as residue can degrade the tape material.
- Store unused tape in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and ozone sources to prevent premature hardening.
