Vee Rubber rim tape is a protective strip fitted to the inner bed of a motorcycle wheel, shielding the inner tube from spoke nipples and rough rim edges. This 40mm wide tape is sized for 110/120 section tyres and is compatible with 16-inch, 17-inch, and 18-inch rims.
A practical consumable for routine tyre maintenance, it suits riders replacing worn or damaged rim tape during tyre changes across a range of common road and trail motorcycle wheel sizes.

- Inspect the rim tape every time a tyre is removed; replace immediately if the tape is cracked, torn, perforated, or compressed flat over the spoke holes.
- Clean the rim bed of old tape residue, dirt, and debris before fitting new tape to ensure a smooth, even surface.
- Centre the tape precisely over the spoke nipple holes, covering the full width of the rim bed with no gaps.
- Smooth out air bubbles and creases by hand before seating the inner tube and tyre.
- Avoid over-stretching the tape during installation — excessive tension can thin the tape and reduce protection at high-stress points.
- Do not allow the tape to contact petroleum-based lubricants or tyre mounting compounds, which can degrade rubber.
- Store unused tape flat in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
