Renthal Fatbar H/Bar RC High GLD W/Bar Pad

The Renthal Fatbar is an unbraced tapered motocross handlebar that set the template for the category and continues to be the benchmark. The oversized 28.6mm (1-1/8in) clamping section is computer-profiled and tapers down to 22.2mm (7/8in) at the ends so it accepts standard controls, while Renthal's exclusive 7010 T6 aluminium is formulated to damp vibration without giving up strength.

This is the 609 RC High bend in gold, supplied with a matching Renthal bar pad. The taller bend suits riders who prefer a more upright, aggressive standing position on a motocross or off-road bike, and the Fatbar's signature flex character is the reason it is chosen by leading racers and fitted as original equipment by Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki.

Confirm your bike uses 28.6mm (1-1/8in) oversized bar mounts before fitting; 22.2mm clamps will not suit this bar.
Fit the supplied bar pad over the central clamping area before tightening the clamps, and check it does not foul the top yoke or steering lock.
Tighten handlebar clamp bolts evenly in a criss-cross pattern to the motorcycle manufacturer's specified torque — never over-tighten, as crushing the clamping area can weaken the bar.
Do not clamp controls, levers or accessories over the oversized 28.6mm section; controls mount on the 22.2mm tapered ends only.
Re-check clamp and control torque after the first ride and at regular service intervals, particularly after off-road use.
Inspect the bar for dents, deep scratches, gouges or bending before each ride, and pay attention to the clamping area and around control mounts.
Replace the handlebar after any crash or noticeable impact — aluminium bars should not be straightened, bent back, heated or re-worked, and a bent bar is no longer safe to use.
Avoid drilling, grinding or welding the bar, and do not use bar-end weights or inserts that require modification.
Clean with mild soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid harsh solvents or abrasives that can mark the anodised gold finish.
Replace the bar pad once the foam is compressed, split or torn, as a worn pad offers little impact protection.
