Oxford Rainseal Waterproof Over Gloves - Black / Fluro

The Oxford Rainseal Over Gloves are lightweight waterproof over-mitts that pull straight over the gloves you already ride in. Rather than carrying a second pair of dedicated wet-weather gloves, you keep your usual fit and feel and simply add a barrier when the weather turns.

They suit commuters, tourers and anyone who gets caught out on a ride they didn't plan for. The shell packs down small enough to live in a jacket pocket or under the seat, and the wide adjustable opening means you can get them on quickly at the side of the road without removing your gloves.

Pull the over gloves on before the rain sets in — fitting them over already-wet gloves traps moisture inside.
Slide them over the cuff of your existing glove, then cinch the adjustable opening so the seal sits over your jacket sleeve rather than under it, letting water run off.
Rinse off road grime, salt and insect residue with clean cool water after wet rides.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron or dry clean; harsh detergents, solvents and petrol-based cleaners can damage the waterproof membrane.
Air dry fully at room temperature and away from direct heat sources such as heaters, exhausts or hot air vents before packing away.
Store dry and loosely folded — storing them damp or compressed for long periods encourages mildew and creasing of the membrane.
Check the palm overlay and seams periodically for abrasion or splits, as damage there is where leaks usually start.
These are a weather layer only and offer no impact or abrasion protection — continue to wear proper motorcycle gloves underneath.
Be aware that any over-glove reduces feel at the levers and switchgear; ride to the reduced dexterity, particularly in the first few kilometres.
