Check the fit before riding: fingertips should reach the end of the glove without bunching, and both the wrist and cuff straps should be fastened so the glove cannot pull off in a slide.
Allow a short break-in period — premium aniline leather softens and moulds to the hand after the first few rides.
Wipe dirt, insects and road grime off the leather with a soft, damp cloth after riding and let the glove dry naturally.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry or dry-clean; harsh detergents and solvents will strip the leather's oils and can damage the TPU and TPR protectors.
If the gloves get soaked, shake out excess water and dry them at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhausts — forced heat causes leather to stiffen and shrink.
Apply a leather conditioner suitable for garment leather occasionally to keep the hide supple, and reshape the gloves by hand while they dry.
Avoid petrol, brake cleaner, chain lube and solvents contacting the leather, as these stain and degrade it.
Inspect the TPU knuckle, finger and palm protectors, the aramid-reinforced palm and the stitching regularly; replace the gloves if protectors are cracked or seams have opened.
Retire any glove that has been through a crash or heavy slide — the abrasion and impact protection cannot be relied on a second time.
Store flat or lightly folded in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight rather than compressed under heavy gear.
