The Oxford Aquatex is a shaped, double-PU-coated polyester cover built to keep rain, dust and UV off your bike or scooter. It suits both outdoor parking and indoor storage, so it works equally well for a bike that lives on the driveway and one that sits in a shed or garage between rides.
An elasticated hem and belly strap pull the cover in tight so it stays put, and built-in lock holes let you thread a chain or disc lock through the cover and the bike together — a simple visual deterrent that also stops the cover walking off. The fabric is light enough to fold down into the included zipped carrier and stash under the seat or in a top box.
Available in six shaped sizes, including dedicated scooter, MP3 and high-screen patterns, so you can match the fit to your machine rather than draping a generic sheet over it.

- Let the engine, exhaust and pipes cool completely before fitting — the cover must not touch hot exhausts or engine parts.
- Check the bike and the ground around it for sharp objects, grit or overhanging branches that could pierce or abrade the fabric.
- Brush loose dirt and grit off the bike before covering, so trapped debris does not rub against paintwork in the wind.
- Fit the elasticated hem under the bike, then fasten the belly strap underneath to stop the cover lifting or flapping in strong wind.
- For added security, thread a chain lock through the lock holes so the cover and the bike are secured together.
- Sponge the cover clean with cool water and a mild soap, rinse it off and let it air dry; avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners and harsh detergents that can attack the PU coating.
- Do not put the cover away damp — hang it out to dry fully before folding it, or mildew and odour can develop inside the carrier bag.
- Store it folded in the supplied zipped carrier when it is not on the bike, and keep the bag somewhere dry.
- Inspect the seams, elastic and belly strap from time to time and repair small tears early before wind spreads them.
