The LS2 MX706 COZ is a full-face off-road and motocross helmet built around a lightweight Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) shell, which flexes to help manage impact energy while keeping overall weight down. It carries both ECE 22.06 and DOT certification, so it is suitable for track days, motocross and trail riding as well as road-registered off-road machines.

Fit the double-D rings by threading the strap through both rings, back through the inner ring and pulling snug — the strap should be firm under the jaw with no more than a finger's gap.
Remove the liner and cheek pads and hand wash them in lukewarm water with a mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat; do not tumble dry or use a hot dryer.
Clean the shell with warm water and a mild soap on a soft cloth. Avoid petrol, solvents, ammonia-based cleaners and abrasive pads, which can attack the shell finish and degrade the EPS.
Soften dried mud and insects by laying a damp cloth over the area for a few minutes rather than scrubbing the matte finish.
After off-road rides, check the intake and exhaust vents and clear any packed mud or grit so the channelled EPS airflow is not blocked.
Check goggle fit in the eyeport before riding and make sure the goggle strap sits flat against the shell.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from fuel and solvent vapours; do not leave it resting on a mirror or handlebar, and never hang it off the bar end.
Do not paint, apply solvent-based stickers or drill the shell, and do not modify the EPS or retention system — any of these will void certification.
Inspect the strap, stitching and shell regularly for damage, and replace the helmet after any significant impact or drop even if no damage is visible.
