LS2 FF808 Stream II - Matte Black 06

The LS2 FF808 Stream II is a full-face road helmet built for everyday riding, from city commutes through to weekend runs into the country. Its shape is deliberately understated, and the matte black finish keeps things simple.

It suits riders who want one helmet that covers commuting and touring without fuss: a drop-down sun visor for changing light, a removable and washable liner for daily use, and a Pinlock-ready main visor for cold or wet mornings. The intermediate oval fit works for the majority of head shapes, and three shell sizes across the range mean the outer shell is scaled to the size rather than padded down.

Note: sizing is intermediate oval. If your current helmet presses at the forehead and crown but leaves gaps at the sides, check the sizing guide before ordering.

Measure the circumference of your head about 2 cm above the eyebrows and match it against the three-shell sizing guide before ordering; the fit is intermediate oval.
Set the micrometric buckle strap length once so the ratchet closes firmly with the strap snug under the jaw, then use the ratchet for day-to-day fastening.
Remove the cheek pads and crown liner and hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent; air dry completely out of direct sunlight before refitting — never machine dry.
Clean the shell and visor with warm water and a mild soap on a soft cloth only. Petrol, solvents, ammonia-based glass cleaners and strong degreasers can attack the KPA shell, the visor coating and the EPS.
Soak stubborn insects off the visor with a damp cloth laid over them rather than scrubbing, which scratches the anti-scratch coating.
The main visor is Pinlock® 70 MaxVision™ ready; fit the insert for cold and wet riding, and clean the Pinlock lens gently with water only, as its anti-fog coating is easily damaged.
Use the quick-release mechanism to remove the visor for cleaning or replacement — no tools required. Check it is fully latched before riding.
Operate the drop-down sun visor only with the slider; do not push it up or down by hand.
Open the top and chin vents in warm weather and close them in rain and cold. The chin curtain and breath deflector reduce fogging and wind noise and can be removed in hot conditions.
Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, fuel fumes and heat. Do not hang it on a mirror or handlebar, as this compresses the EPS.
Replace the helmet after any impact, even if there is no visible damage — the multi-density EPS is designed to crush once and will not protect a second time.
When fitting the LS2 Spectrum intercom, route cabling under the liner and refit the cheek pads fully so nothing sits between your head and the EPS.
