Description

The LS2 FF808 Stream II is a full-face urban-touring helmet built around a clean, understated shape that suits commuting through the city just as well as a weekend run out on country roads. The shell is moulded from LS2's KPA thermoplastic and is offered across three shell sizes, so smaller and larger riders get a helmet that is proportioned to their head rather than simply padded out.

It is aimed at road riders who want everyday practicality without fuss: a twin visor system with a drop-down sun shade for changing light, a scratch-resistant main visor that is ready for a Pinlock 70 MaxVision insert, and a removable, washable comfort liner. This is the gloss White 06 colourway.

Operations & maintenance

Measure the circumference of your head about 2 cm above the eyebrows and compare it against the LS2 size chart before ordering; the FF808 uses an intermediate oval shape and three shell sizes, so check the shell band your size falls into (XS-S / M-L / XL-3XL).
Adjust the micrometric buckle strap length once, then use the ratchet for day-to-day fastening — the helmet should not roll forward or backwards when you push on it with the strap done up.
Remove the cheek pads and crown liner and hand wash them in cool water with a mild soap; air dry them fully away from direct heat or sunlight before refitting, and never machine dry.
Clean the shell with a soft cloth and warm water only. Avoid petrol, solvents, thinners, ammonia-based glass cleaners and insect removers, as these can damage the KPA shell, the visor coatings and the internal sun visor.
Soak stubborn insect residue off the visor with a damp cloth laid over it for a few minutes rather than scrubbing — the visor is scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof.
If you fit a Pinlock 70 MaxVision insert, handle it by the edges, do not wipe the anti-fog side when it is wet, and let it dry naturally.
Use the Quick Release System to change the main visor rather than forcing it, and check that both sides are fully latched before riding.
Operate the drop-down sun visor with the side slider only; never push on the sun visor itself.
Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry place off the ground, and don't hang it on a mirror or indicator stalk where the liner and shell can be deformed.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage, and retire it in line with LS2's recommendations for age and use.
