Description

The Leatt 7.5 ADV X-Flow Short Glove in Desert is a warm-weather adventure glove built for airflow without giving up certified knuckle protection. Perforated, ventilated construction keeps air moving on long summer days and in slow technical going, while ReaFlex soft impact gel over the knuckles flexes with the hand rather than fighting it.

This is the short-cuff version, finishing at the wrist with a simple hook-and-loop closure — it sits neatly under or alongside an adventure jacket sleeve and skips the FreeFlex wrist strap used on the standard-length glove. A NanoGrip palm with leather reinforcement in the high-wear areas delivers dependable grip on the bars in both dry and wet conditions, and the pre-curved, seamless palm keeps lever and switch feel direct.

Suited to adventure, dual-sport and trail riders in hot climates who want a light, breathable glove with genuine CE-certified impact protection.

Operations & maintenance

Fit check: the glove is pre-curved with a snug fit, so measure your hand and use the Leatt size guide rather than sizing up — a loose glove reduces grip feel and lets the knuckle protector shift off position.
Set the hook-and-loop cuff firmly each ride so the short cuff cannot roll back off the wrist; keep the closure free of dust, sand and lint so it keeps holding.
Wash by hand in cool water with a small amount of mild soap, working it gently through the palm and vents. Rinse thoroughly.
Air dry only, away from direct sunlight, heaters, exhausts and the clothes dryer — heat stiffens the leather reinforcement and can distort the gel padding.
Do not use solvents, petrol, brake cleaner, bleach or fabric softeners on the glove, and avoid machine washing.
Rinse off mud, salt, sweat and sunscreen after dusty or hot rides; grime and skin oils on the NanoGrip palm are the usual cause of grip feeling slippery, and cleaning restores it.
These are vented warm-weather gloves and are not waterproof or windproof — carry an alternative pair for cold or wet touring legs.
Expect a short break-in as the pre-curved shape and leather soften to your hand; wear them on a few shorter rides before a long day out.
Store flat or loosely in a cool, dry place with the fingers unfolded, not crushed at the bottom of a pannier or tank bag.
Inspect regularly for abraded palms, split seams or a damaged knuckle protector, and replace the gloves after a crash or once the impact protection is compromised — protective gear is not repairable to its original standard.
