Leatt 4.5 Enduro Boot - Graphene

The Leatt 4.5 Enduro is an enduro-specific boot developed with input from Jonny Walker, carrying across much of the thinking behind Leatt's 5.5 FlexLock. It sits in the middle of the range for riders who want serious protection without giving up the feel needed for trail work, hill climbs and long days in the bush.

Comfort is the standout. The interior is plush from the first fitting, the fit accommodates wider feet, and the low-profile toe box and flat, grippy inner panel keep you connected to the frame, gear lever and rear brake. The sole is purpose-built for enduro, with a tread pattern that holds ground when you're off the bike and pushing it.

Expect a short break-in period — wear the boots around home and on a few shorter rides before a long day out so the liner and sole flex to your foot.
Check that the SlideLock closure runs freely and that each buckle is fully engaged and over-locked before every ride.
Knock off loose mud and rinse the boots with clean water while the dirt is still damp; caked mud is much harder on the materials and the closure mechanism.
Wipe the uppers with a soft damp cloth and mild soap only. Avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and other harsh chemicals, which can damage the materials and the sole bond.
Air-dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heaters, exhausts and dryers — forced heat can distort the shell, sole and buckles.
After a wet or creek-crossing ride, open the boots fully and let the 3D mesh liner dry out completely to reduce odour and premature wear. Note this is not the waterproof HydraDri version.
Keep the buckle tracks and slider clear of grit and sand, and rinse them out if the closure starts to feel gritty or stiff.
Inspect the sole tread, steel shank area and buckle hardware regularly for cracking, separation or damage, and replace the boots if protective structure is compromised.
Store upright in a cool, dry place with the closures loosely fastened to help the boots hold their shape; do not compress under heavy gear.
Retire any boot that has taken a significant crash impact, as protective performance cannot be verified afterwards.
