Leatt 5.5 ADV Rally Pant - Stealth

The Leatt 5.5 ADV Rally Pant in Stealth is a boot-in adventure pant built around enduro-style performance. The lightweight Leatt-developed ripstop shell uses 4-way stretch for freedom of movement, with anti-abrasion reinforcement through the impact areas so the pant stands up to hard, mixed-surface riding.

It suits adventure and rally riders who want protection without the bulk of a touring pant. Airflow comes from large thigh vents and an X-Flow mesh lining, while the non-PU-coated shell breathes and a DWR finish handles light weather. Included 3DF impact protectors cover the knees and hips, and the knee guards can be repositioned up or down to suit different leg lengths.

The cut is also designed to work with Leatt knee braces once the inner knee protection is removed, and stretch panels through the calf keep bulk down inside your boots.

Set the knee protectors before your first ride: use the hook-and-loop system to slide the guards up or down until they sit centred on your kneecap in the riding position, then secure the toggle cord knee adjuster.
If you ride in Leatt knee braces, remove the inner knee protection first — the cut and the cutaway X-Flow mesh lining are shaped to accommodate the brace.
Remove the 3DF knee and hip protectors before washing, and refit them once the pant is fully dry.
Wash the shell gently and rinse thoroughly; avoid fabric softeners, bleach and solvents, which degrade the DWR finish and the mesh lining.
Air dry away from direct heat and sunlight — do not tumble dry, and keep the pant clear of heaters, exhausts and open flame.
The DWR coating sheds light rain but is not a waterproof membrane; carry a waterproof over-pant for sustained wet weather.
Re-treat with a wash-in or spray-on DWR product when water stops beading on the shell, typically after repeated washes or heavy off-road use.
Rinse off mud, dust and salt after off-road rides so grit does not abrade the ripstop shell or clog the thigh vent zips.
Keep the YKK Vislon and reverse coil zips clean and run them freely; operate the thigh vents by the pull tabs rather than tugging the fabric.
Store clean and completely dry in a cool, ventilated place, hung or loosely folded rather than compressed with the armour in place.
Inspect the knee and hip protectors, leather inner-knee panels and stitching regularly; replace any protector that has taken a significant impact.
