The Leatt Moto 8.5 V24 Helmet Kit pairs Leatt's composite-shell off-road helmet with a set of Leatt Velocity 5.5 goggles, so head and eye protection arrive matched and ready to ride. It is built for motocross, enduro and trail riders who want a certified, well-ventilated full-face helmet without stepping up to a carbon flagship.

At its core is Leatt's 360° Turbine Technology — energy-absorbing discs lining the inside of the helmet that allow slight head movement during a crash to help manage rotational and direct impact forces. Four densities of impact foam sit behind the shell, while the Pro-Fit elastic comfort liner stretches to the shape of your head for a stable, settled fit.

Large ventilation channels keep air moving even at lower trail speeds, the peak breaks away under load, and the shell shape is designed to work with a neck brace. Certified to both ECE 22.06 and DOT, and supplied in black/white with a helmet bag and visor extension.

Measure the circumference of your head about 2 cm above the eyebrows and match it to the size chart (XS 53–54 cm through to 2XL 63–64 cm) — the helmet should sit snug with no pressure points and should not roll forward when the strap is done up.
Remove the X-Static comfort liner and cheek pads and hand-wash them in cool water with a mild soap, then air-dry completely away from direct heat before refitting.
Clean the shell and visor with warm water and a mild detergent on a soft cloth; avoid petrol, solvents, fuel-based cleaners and abrasive pads, which can attack the composite shell and paint.
Do not machine-wash the goggle lens or wipe the inside of it when wet — let it dry, then clean the outer surface only with a soft goggle bag or microfibre cloth to protect the anti-fog coating.
Check the visor and its breakaway hardware periodically and re-tension the fasteners if the peak has moved; fit the supplied visor extension only where you want the extra sun and roost coverage.
After riding in mud, dust or rain, allow the helmet and liner to dry naturally in a ventilated space rather than in direct sun or in front of a heater.
Store the helmet in the supplied helmet bag in a cool, dry place, off the ground and away from prolonged sunlight, fuel vapours and chemicals.
Do not paint, apply stickers with aggressive adhesives, or modify the shell, liner or retention system in any way.
Retire and replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage, and replace goggle lenses that are scratched enough to distort vision.
If you use the hydration side port, fit the optional hands-free kit as supplied and route the hose so it cannot snag on the neck brace or collar.
