Leatt 2.5 Helmet - Stealth

The Leatt 2.5 is a full-face off-road helmet built around an injected polymer compound shell, aimed at riders who want Leatt's rotational-impact technology at an accessible entry point in the range. It carries both DOT and the newer ECE 22.06 approval, and starts from around 1070 g.

Inside, the shell is lined with Leatt's 360° Turbine Technology — energy-absorbing discs that let the head move slightly within the helmet during a crash, reducing both direct and rotational impact energy at speeds associated with concussion. Ventilation channels move air across the head, the liner is removable and washable, and the visor is designed to break away in a crash to shed load from the head and neck.

The profile is shaped to work with a neck brace, making it a sensible choice for motocross, enduro and trail riders. This is the helmet-only model in Stealth; if you want a version supplied with goggles, look at the Leatt 3.5, 7.5, 8.5 or 9.5 kits.

Measure the widest part of your head, just above the eyebrows, and match it to the size chart — XS 53–54 cm through to 2XL 63–64 cm. The helmet should sit snugly with no movement when you shake your head, and the cheek pads should press lightly against your cheeks.
Always fasten and adjust the retention strap so it is firm under the jaw before riding; a loose strap can allow the helmet to come off in a crash.
Remove the inner liner and hand wash it in lukewarm water with a mild soap, then air dry it fully away from direct heat before refitting. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or use a hair dryer on it.
Clean the shell and visor with a soft cloth and mild soapy water only. Petrol, solvents, degreasers and abrasive cleaners can attack the polymer shell and the EPS liner.
Do not paint the shell, apply solvent-based stickers, or drill or modify the helmet or visor mounts in any way — this voids the DOT and ECE 22.06 approval.
Check the visor screws and the breakaway mounts periodically and re-seat the visor if it has released after a fall, so the breakaway function works as intended next time.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place in its bag or box, out of direct sunlight and away from exhausts, heaters and fuel vapours. Never hang it on a mirror or handlebar end, which can dent the EPS liner.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage — the EPS liner and 360° Turbines are designed to deform once and will not protect the same way again.
Allow the liner to dry fully after wet or sweaty rides to prevent odour and to keep the fit consistent.
