The Leatt Dual Axis Pro sits between the standard Dual Axis knee and shin guard and Leatt's Z-Frame knee brace, giving off-road riders a hardshell guard with genuine articulation. Its gear-driven, anatomically shaped hinge is built as dedicated left and right units so the guard tracks with the natural movement of the knee rather than fighting it.
A tough outer shell using Leatt-engineered impact technology covers the kneecap, backed by soft internal padding for comfort and rubberised inner patches that help you grip the bike. Large ventilation ports keep airflow moving on long, hot motos, while the slim shin plate is shaped to sit neatly inside boots.
Suited to motocross, enduro and trail riding, and carrying a Leatt protection score of 25 out of 25. Sold as a pair.

- Fit the correct guard to each leg — the Dual Axis Pro is side-specific, so the hinge and shin plate are shaped for left and right.
- Position the hardshell cup centred over the kneecap and tension the straps so the guard stays put through a moto without restricting circulation; recheck strap tension after the first few rides as the padding settles.
- Slide the slim shin plate inside your boot before doing the boot buckles up, and check it isn't fouling the boot's top buckle.
- Rinse mud, sand and grit off the shell and out of the ventilation ports after riding — grit left in the gear mechanism accelerates wear.
- Hand wash the padding and straps in cool water with a mild soap, rinse thoroughly and air dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhausts. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron.
- Avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and harsh degreasers on the shell, straps or rubberised inner patches.
- Before each ride, check the hinge moves freely through its range, and inspect the shell, metal cover, straps and buckles for cracks, deformation or fraying.
- Replace the guard after a heavy impact or crash, even if damage isn't visible — impact protection is designed to absorb energy once.
- Store flat or hanging in a cool, dry place rather than compressed at the bottom of a gear bag, and let it dry fully before packing away.
