The Quad Lock Waterproof Wireless Charging Head replaces the standard head on your Quad Lock motorcycle mount so your phone charges while it rides. Lock the phone on with the same dual-stage twist action you already use, and it starts charging — no cables to plug in at the lights, no fumbling with gloves on.
It's built for riders who lean on their phone for navigation, music and calls, where screen-on GPS drains a battery faster than it can hold. The head is IP67 water resistant with a die-cast aluminium rear housing that helps shed heat, so wet weather and long days in the saddle are part of the design brief rather than an exception.
Power comes from your bike's USB outlet via the supplied cable. If your motorcycle doesn't have one, the Quad Lock Weatherproof 12V to USB Smart Adaptor (7105930) wires to the battery or an existing SAE connector, and a dedicated hardwire lead (7106565) is available for switching the head through the ignition or an isolation switch — both sold separately.

- Power the charging head from your motorcycle's switched USB outlet, or from the Quad Lock Weatherproof 12V to USB Smart Adaptor (7105930) connected to the battery or an existing SAE connector.
- Do not connect the head directly to the battery on an unswitched circuit — it can draw down the battery while the bike is parked. Use the hardwire lead (7106565) if you want it switched through the ignition or an isolation switch.
- Use Quad Lock compatible cables only; other cables may not deliver the required voltage or current, and joins in the loom can compromise water resistance.
- Provide adequate input power — undersized supplies will drop the head to a slower charging rate or stop charging altogether.
- Route the 150mm hardwired lead and power cable clear of steering lock-to-lock, hot exhaust components, brake lines and suspension travel, then secure with the supplied zip ties.
- Check the mounting screw and zip ties periodically, as vibration can loosen fasteners over time.
- Keep the charging surface and the back of your phone case free of dust, grit and metal objects such as coins or magnetic cards, which can interfere with charging and generate heat.
- Mount in portrait or landscape to suit your riding position, and make sure the phone is fully engaged in the dual-stage lock before setting off.
- After riding in rain or on salted or dusty roads, wipe the head with a soft damp cloth and dry it. Avoid solvents and do not use a pressure washer on or near the unit or its connections.
- Remove your phone and store it out of the weather when parked for long periods; sustained direct sun can cause phones to overheat and pause charging.
