- Before every ride, check that the phone is fully locked into the mount by pressing down until the second stage clicks into place.
- Test that the phone cannot be pulled free with a firm upward tug before setting off.
- To release the phone, squeeze the locking lever and twist the device anti-clockwise.
- Inspect the mount's locking tabs and the case connection points regularly for signs of wear; replace the mount if the locking action feels loose.
- Clean the mount with a damp cloth; avoid solvents, lubricants, or high-pressure water directed at the locking mechanism.
- When not in use, remove the phone from the mount to reduce stress on the locking tabs over time.
- If the mount is exposed to rain, allow it to air-dry fully before storing; the locking mechanism should be free of grit or debris before the next use.
- Periodically check the handlebar clamp bolt for tightness and re-torque per the instructions supplied with the mount.
