- Confirm your clutch or motorcycle manufacturer specifies a mineral fluid before use — this is not a glycol-based DOT fluid.
- Do not mix with DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluid; mixing fluid types can damage seals and cause clutch failure.
- Bleed and fill the clutch system following the procedure in your motorcycle or clutch manufacturer's service manual, and replace the fluid at the interval they specify.
- Use clean syringes, hoses and funnels, and avoid introducing dirt or moisture into the reservoir while topping up.
- Wipe spills from paintwork, plastics and brake components promptly, and clean up drips on the floor to avoid a slip hazard.
- Replace the bottle cap firmly after use and store upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Keep away from open flames and heat sources — the flash point is 130°C.
- Store out of reach of children and pets, and dispose of used fluid and empty containers through a local waste oil or chemical collection service rather than in general waste or drains.
