The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring is a vehicle-specific mounting adapter designed for the BMW R 1300 RS (2025 onwards). It forms the base of SW-Motech's QUICK-LOCK PRO luggage system, attaching permanently to the motorcycle and allowing compatible PRO tank bags to be fitted and removed without tools.
Finished in black, the ring integrates neatly with the R 1300 RS's styling and is engineered to the precise fitment requirements of this model. It is a prerequisite for riders who want to run SW-Motech QUICK-LOCK PRO tank bags on their R 1300 RS.

- Fit the ring to the motorcycle following the vehicle-specific instructions included by SW-Motech — torque fasteners to the specified value.
- Check that all mounting fasteners remain secure periodically, particularly after the first few rides following installation.
- The ring is designed to stay on the bike permanently; only remove it if replacing or relocating.
- Wipe the ring clean with a soft damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the finish.
- Inspect the QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism periodically to ensure the bayonet points are free of dirt and engage cleanly.
- Store the ring cover (if supplied) over the ring when no tank bag is fitted to protect the locking interface from road debris.
- Do not exceed the maximum load rating of the tank bag system as specified by SW-Motech for your bag model.
