The Alpinestars Pro-Dura Jacket is an off-road shell built for enduro and trail riding, where a jacket has to stay light and unrestrictive without giving up durability. It pairs a high-resistance ripstop chassis with 600D reinforcement, so it handles branches, dust and the general abuse of aggressive trail work while remaining breathable across long days in the saddle.

The cut is a dedicated off-road fit derived from Alpinestars' rally racing programme, with pre-curved arms sized to go over a chest protector, a protection jacket or the Tech-Air OFF-ROAD Airbag System. A durable water-repellent treatment and a highly resistant outer layer hold off wind, dirt and light rain, while long side vents let heat out when the pace picks up.

Detach the sleeves via the sleeve zips before washing, and close all zips and fastenings to stop them snagging the fabric.
Rinse off mud and dust with clean water and let the jacket dry before brushing it down — dried grit scrubbed into ripstop will wear the weave.
Wash sparingly and only when needed; use a technical fabric wash rather than standard detergent, and avoid fabric softener, bleach and solvents, all of which strip the water-repellent finish.
Hang to dry away from direct heat sources; do not iron or dry-clean the shell.
When water stops beading on the outer fabric, reproof with a wash-in or spray-on DWR treatment made for technical outerwear to restore wet-weather performance.
The jacket is a water-repellent shell, not a waterproof membrane garment — expect it to handle wind, dirt and light rain rather than sustained heavy downpours.
Size the jacket around whatever you ride in: check the fit over your chest protector, protection jacket or Tech-Air OFF-ROAD airbag before removing tags.
If you wear it over a Tech-Air OFF-ROAD system, leave the fit loose enough for the airbag to inflate freely and keep the side vents unobstructed.
Inspect the sleeve attachment zips, cuff closures and pocket zips regularly and clear them of grit; a dry zip lubricant keeps them running after muddy rides.
Store clean and completely dry on a wide hanger in a cool, ventilated space out of direct sunlight, not compressed in a gear bag.
