- Rinse the hose with clean water after each use to prevent fuel residue build-up.
- Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals to clean the hose — these may degrade the material.
- Inspect the hose for cracks, kinks, or perishing before each use; replace immediately if damage is found.
- Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources when not in use, as prolonged UV exposure can cause deterioration.
- Ensure the hose is fully drained and dry before storage to prevent internal residue accumulation.
- Check that all hose connections are secure and leak-free before refuelling.
- Do not overtighten fittings, as this may crack or deform the hose ends.
