The Polisport MX Plastic Kit delivers a factory-correct replacement set for Honda CR125R and CR250R models from 1991 to 1992, finished in OEM colours to restore the bike's original appearance. - Clean panels with mild soap and warm water using a soft cloth or brush; avoid petroleum-based solvents, acetone or harsh degreasers that can craze or discolour plastic.
- Rinse thoroughly after washing to remove soap residue.
- Apply a UV protectant or plastic polish periodically to slow colour fading caused by sun exposure.
- Before fitting, inspect all mounting tabs and hole edges for stress cracks; address any damage before installation to prevent panels from cracking under vibration.
- When installing, tighten plastic fasteners by hand and to manufacturer-recommended torque only — overtightening will crack the mounting tabs.
- Store unused panels horizontally in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and away from fuel or solvent vapours.
- If a panel cracks in service, replace it promptly; a cracked panel flexes differently and can place uneven load on adjacent panels and fasteners.
