- Check tyre pressure cold before every ride and maintain the pressure specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual — not the maximum figure moulded on the tyre sidewall.
- Allow a minimum of 100 km of progressively increasing lean angles and braking effort to scrub in the new tyre surface; avoid aggressive cornering, hard braking, or heavy acceleration during this break-in period.
- Inspect tread depth regularly and replace the tyre before the tread reaches the built-in wear indicators; do not continue riding on a tyre that has reached its wear limit.
- Check the sidewall periodically for cracking, bulges, cuts, or embedded debris; replace immediately if any structural damage is found.
- Do not mix radial and cross-ply (bias) tyre constructions front and rear unless explicitly approved by your motorcycle's manufacturer.
- Have the tyre mounted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using appropriate motorcycle-specific tyre-changing equipment — car tyre machines can damage motorcycle tyre beads.
- Recheck inflation pressure after the first 50 km of riding, as a freshly fitted tyre beds to the rim and pressure may shift slightly.
- Store unmounted tyres in a cool, dry, dark location away from direct sunlight, UV sources, ozone-generating equipment (electric motors, compressors, welding gear), and petroleum-based products.
