- Allow at least 100 km of gradual, progressive riding to scrub in the new tyre before pushing hard into corners — the mould-release agent on a brand-new tyre significantly reduces grip.
- Check cold inflation pressure before every ride; refer to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended rear tyre pressure for your load and speed conditions.
- Inspect the tyre visually each ride for cuts, embedded objects, cracking, or abnormal wear — do not ride on a damaged tyre.
- Being tubeless (TL), this tyre must only be fitted to a compatible tubeless-rated rim; do not fit an inner tube unless directed by Pirelli for an emergency repair.
- Have the tyre professionally mounted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician; correct balancing prevents vibration and uneven wear.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lights), and petrochemicals.
- Rotation is not applicable to motorcycle tyres — front and rear tyres wear differently and must not be swapped.
- Replace the tyre when the tread depth reaches the tread wear indicators (TWIs) moulded into the grooves, or if the tyre sustains impact damage or sidewall cracking, regardless of remaining tread depth.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to oil, fuel, or cleaning solvents on the tyre surface; wipe off contamination immediately with a damp cloth.
