Allow at least 100 km of gradual, progressive riding to scrub in the new tyre before pushing hard into corners — the mould-release agent on a brand-new tyre significantly reduces grip.
Check cold inflation pressure before every ride; refer to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended rear tyre pressure for your load and speed conditions.
Inspect the tyre visually each ride for cuts, embedded objects, cracking, or abnormal wear — do not ride on a damaged tyre.
