- New tyres require a scrub-in period of approximately 100 km to allow the mould-release agent to wear off and the tyre to reach its designed operating profile — avoid aggressive lean angles and hard braking during this period.
- Check front tyre pressure when cold before every ride; consult your motorcycle owner's manual for the recommended PSI for your specific machine and load.
- Inspect the tyre visually before each ride for cuts, cracks, embedded objects, or uneven wear.
- Monitor tread depth and replace the tyre before it reaches the tyre wear indicators moulded into the tread grooves.
- Do not mix tyre brands or models on the same axle — always fit a matched pair (Angel GT front with a compatible rear) for predictable handling.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lighting), and fuels or solvents.
- Avoid prolonged parking with the bike stationary on one spot, as this can cause flat-spotting on cold tyres.
- Have the front wheel balanced by a qualified tyre fitter after mounting to prevent vibration at speed.
