New tyres require a scrub-in period of approximately 100 km to allow the mould-release agent to wear off and the tyre to reach its designed operating profile — avoid aggressive lean angles and hard braking during this period.

Inspect the tyre visually before each ride for cuts, cracks, embedded objects, or uneven wear.
