Penrite Super DOT 4 Brake Fluid is a premium, fully synthetic hydraulic fluid for brake and clutch systems. It is non-silicone and non-mineral/petroleum based, and is supplied in a 500mL bottle sized for topping up or refilling a motorcycle system without leaving a large part-used container on the shelf.

It suits riders and workshops servicing machines where the manufacturer specifies a DOT 3, DOT 4 or Super DOT 4 fluid, and it is equally at home in passenger cars, 4WDs, light and heavy commercial vehicles, and mining, construction and agricultural equipment. The high dry and wet boiling points give consistent brake feel under sustained hard use and help the fluid hold its performance between services.

Important: this is not a silicone DOT 5 fluid and must not be mixed with silicone DOT 5 or mineral-based fluids.

Suitable for first fill, refill or top-up of brake and clutch systems; for best results flush the system with Penrite Super DOT 4 before first filling or refilling.
Change the fluid at the intervals set out in the vehicle or motorcycle manufacturer's service schedule.
Only use where the manufacturer specifies a non-petroleum DOT 3, DOT 4 or Super DOT 4 fluid — check the reservoir cap or owner's manual before filling.
Do not mix with silicone DOT 5 or mineral-type brake fluids, and do not use with silicone-type assembly compounds. Vehicles requiring a mineral fluid (for example Citroën) need Penrite LHM Plus instead.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the air, which lowers its effectiveness — reseal the cap tightly straight after use and use opened bottles promptly.
Store the bottle upright, sealed, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with skin, paint and varnish; wipe up spills on bodywork immediately and rinse the area with water. If skin contact occurs, wash with water.
Dispose of used fluid and empty containers through an appropriate waste oil or chemical collection facility rather than in household waste or drains.
