- Always consult your motorcycle's owner manual for the specified gear oil viscosity grade and service interval before purchasing or applying any lubricant.
- Drain the existing gear oil only when the gearbox or final drive is at operating temperature — warm oil flows more freely and carries suspended contaminants out more effectively.
- Use the exact quantity specified in your owner manual; overfilling can cause seal damage and foaming.
- Inspect the drained oil for metal particles or a milky appearance, which may indicate internal wear or water ingress requiring further investigation before refilling.
- Use a clean, dedicated funnel or transfer pump to avoid introducing contaminants during filling.
- Replace the drain plug with a new sealing washer if recommended by the manufacturer, and torque to specification.
- Store unused product in the original, tightly sealed bottle in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Keep out of reach of children and dispose of used oil at an authorised recycling or waste collection facility in accordance with local regulations.
