Oxford Black Rear Paddock Stand (with L & U lifters)

The Oxford Big Black Rear Paddock Stand is a workshop essential for anyone who services their own bike. Built from steel with heavy-duty fasteners and torsional bracing, it lifts the rear wheel clear of the ground for chain adjustment, tyre changes, suspension work or simply storing the bike off its side stand.

Both L-shaped bobbin lifters and U-shaped swingarm lifters are supplied, so the stand suits bikes with and without factory-fitted swingarm bobbins. Double wheels at each corner make the lift smooth and keep the stand steady under load, and the black finish stands up to typical garage use.

Only use the stand on firm, level ground — never on gravel, grass or a sloping driveway.
Fit the L-shaped lifters to factory swingarm bobbins, or the U-shaped lifters directly under the swingarm; check the contact point is on a solid section of the swingarm, not on brake lines, hoses or a bolt-on guard.
Have a second person steady the bike, or keep it on the side stand until the stand takes the weight; lift with a smooth push down and forward rather than a jerk.
Do not exceed the 250 kg maximum load, and don't leave the bike on the stand while applying heavy torque or pushing sideways against it.
Check all fasteners are tight before each use and re-tighten if they work loose over time.
Keep the wheels and pivots clean and free of grit so the stand rolls smoothly under load.
Wipe off chain lube, degreaser and road grime after use, and store the stand indoors or under cover — steel will surface rust if left wet.
Touch up any chips or scratches in the finish to keep corrosion from taking hold.
Remove any bike from the stand before transporting or storing it, and don't work under a bike supported only by a rear paddock stand.
