Description

The Oxford Zero-G Front Paddock Stand is a workshop stand that lifts the front of your motorcycle for maintenance, cleaning, tyre changes and storage. It engages the fork bottoms via a billet aluminium top cap, and its durable steel frame, oversized base and large wheels give a stable, controlled lift.

Zero-G stands are developed with CAD and 3D modelling, with the geometry designed to reduce the effort needed to raise a given load — so the stand does more of the work for you. At 5.8kg it is light enough to move around the garage easily, while still rated to a 300kg maximum load.

Suited to home mechanics and workshops alike, this front stand is part of a wider Zero-G range that covers bikes with conventional and single-sided swingarms. RiDE Magazine awarded the Zero-G a Best Buy in its group test, praising the clear instructions, the finish and the large wheels, and rating it the easiest stand on test for lifting a bike.

Operations & maintenance

Assemble the stand fully and tighten all heavy duty fasteners before the first lift — follow the instructions supplied with the stand.
Only use the stand on a firm, flat, level surface such as a concrete garage floor; soft or sloping ground can allow the bike to topple.
Do not exceed the 300kg maximum load, and never work under a bike that is supported only by a paddock stand.
Check the billet aluminium top cap is seated squarely against the fork bottoms before taking any weight, and lift smoothly with a steady, controlled motion.
A front stand lifts the front wheel only — steady the motorcycle or support the rear with a rear stand before removing the front wheel or forks.
Re-check the fasteners periodically, particularly after the first few uses and before heavy or repeated lifts.
Keep the wheels and base clear of grit, cable ties and workshop debris so the stand rolls and sits flat.
Wipe the stand down after use, especially if it has been in contact with degreaser, brake cleaner or road salt, and dry it before storing.
Store indoors in a dry area to protect the steel frame and finish from corrosion.
Stop using the stand and replace it if you find bent tubing, cracked welds, damaged wheels or a worn or loose top cap.
