Oxford Zero-G - Rear Paddock Stand

The Oxford Zero-G Rear Paddock Stand is a workshop stand designed to lift the rear of a motorcycle for chain adjustment, tyre changes, cleaning and storage. It is developed using CAD and 3D modelling, with the geometry worked out to reduce the effort needed to raise a given load — the aim being a stand that does the hard part for you rather than the other way round.

Construction is durable steel with heavy-duty fasteners, robot welding for consistency, and an oversized base running large wheels so the stand stays planted and rolls easily across a garage floor. At 5.8kg it is light enough to move around and store without fuss, while still rated to 300kg. The stand ships with bobbin forks fitted; L cups for bikes without bobbins are available separately.

Use only on firm, flat and level ground — never on gravel, grass or a sloped driveway.
Fit the bobbin forks to the swingarm bobbins on both sides and check they are seated evenly before applying any lifting force.
If your bike has no swingarm bobbins, fit the optional L cups rather than lifting against the swingarm with the bobbin forks.
Keep the load within the 300kg maximum and do not use the stand as a support for engine, suspension or wheel work that shifts the bike's weight beyond that limit.
Lift with a smooth, steady push on the handle and keep your back straight; let the stand's geometry do the work rather than snatching at it.
Never sit on, start or run the bike while it is on the stand, and chock or secure the front wheel if the bike is to be left raised.
Check the fasteners and the top cap periodically and re-tighten anything that has worked loose before use.
Keep the wheels and pivots free of grit so the stand rolls and folds smoothly; wipe away chain lube, degreaser and brake fluid promptly.
Dry the stand after use in wet conditions and store it indoors to protect the steelwork and finish from corrosion.
Stop using the stand and replace it if you find bent tubing, cracked welds, damaged forks or a wheel that no longer turns freely.
