The Oxford Heritage 40L Panniers pair traditional waxed cotton canvas with modern touring practicality. The vintage-styled outer uses time-honoured materials and construction, while a removable waterproof polyester liner and a stiffening board in the back and base keep contents dry and the bags in shape.

Supplied as a pair with 20 litres per side, they mount to the bike with the fittings provided and a dedicated under-seat security strap. Padded shoulder straps and a grab handle mean each bag lifts off and comes with you once you've parked. A natural fit for classic, retro and cruiser riders after luggage that suits the bike as much as the trip.

Always fit the under-seat security strap as well as the throw-over straps — the panniers are designed to be used with it.
Check all straps and buckles for tension and wear before each ride, and re-check after the first few kilometres of a loaded trip.
Roll the top closure down several turns and cinch the side compression straps to keep the closure water-resistant and the load stable.
Use the removable waterproof liners inside each bag for wet-weather riding, and take them out to rinse and air-dry afterwards.
Keep the bags clear of the exhaust, hot engine cases, chain and rear tyre — waxed cotton will scorch or abrade on contact.
Clean the waxed cotton outer by wiping with a damp cloth or sponge; do not machine wash, dry clean, or use detergents, solvents or fuel.
Let the bags dry naturally at room temperature — never use direct heat such as a heater, hair dryer or hot sun, which can soften and displace the wax finish.
Store loosely packed and fully dry, with the liners removed, so the stiffening board in the back and base holds its shape.
Distribute weight evenly between the two bags and avoid over-packing beyond the 20 litres per side.
When carrying the bags off the bike, fit the padded shoulder straps and tuck the seat straps into the slip-through sleeve on the back.
