Description

The Oxford Drystash T45 is a 45-litre roll bag built for riders who need their kit to stay dry between stops. A tough 600D polyester shell, fully taped seams and a weather-proof roll-down closure keep road spray and rain out, while the simple cylindrical shape sits neatly across a pillion seat or rack.

It suits weekend touring, commuting with a change of clothes, or trackday and camping duties where a single large, sealed space is more useful than lots of small pockets. Padded shoulder straps mean it carries comfortably once you're off the bike, and Oxford's safety attachment gives you an extra point of security when the bag is strapped down.

Supplied in black.

Operations & maintenance

Pack the bag first, then roll the top closure down on itself several times and clip the buckles together — the seal relies on the rolled section, so a single fold will let water in.
Avoid overfilling: leave enough slack at the top to roll the closure properly, otherwise the bag will not seal and the straps will be under strain.
Strap the bag down firmly across the pillion seat or rack and use the Oxford safety attachment as a secondary anchor point before riding.
Check strap tension after the first few kilometres of a trip and again at fuel stops, as loads settle once the bag has been on the move.
Keep the bag clear of the exhaust and hot engine components — direct heat contact will melt or distort the polyester shell.
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soapy water; do not machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean or use solvents, bleach or petrol-based cleaners.
Hang the bag open and let it air dry fully at room temperature before storing — trapped moisture leads to odour and mildew inside the sealed compartment.
Store loosely rolled or flat in a cool, dry place rather than tightly compressed, which can crease the coating along the fold lines.
Inspect the taped seams, closure strip and buckles periodically for lifting tape, abrasion or cracks, and retire the bag from wet-weather duty if the seams start to separate.
Rinse off salt, mud and road grime after coastal or unsealed-road trips so grit does not abrade the fabric or jam the buckles.
